Air Change’s contribution to the development of energy efficient HVAC products has been acknowledged by the numerous awards it has received from its industry peers.
The Australian Institute of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heating (AIRAH) rewarded Air Change for its innovative technology and design with awards in 2002, 2003 and 2007 when it received the "Award of Excellence in HVAC" for the company’s Outdoor Air - Rooftop Package Unit.

In 2008 at the Australian Refrigeration and Building Services (ARBS) trade show in Melbourne, Mr John Urch, the founder of Air Change and inventor of its technology, was Highly Commended as "Green Innovator of the Year" at the inaugural ARBS 2008 CoolWorld Awards.

Air Change was again recognised by ARBS when it received the 'Environmentally Sustainable Design' (ESD) product category award at the 2010 ARBS Industry Awards with its Green Building Air Handling Unit (GB AHU) - an energy efficient heat and energy recovery system that automatically selects the most economical operating mode to save energy and reduce CO2 emissions, whilst providing superior indoor air quality.
